Habits to keep you sane . . .

What habits are you are using to keep you sane in this insane time.

Here are some examples:

1. Keeping journals, logs, or diaries

2. Learning additional information about addiction
3. Participating in a spiritual activity that is consistent with your beliefs
4. Asking trusted friends or relatives for feedback and support
5. Setting aside time daily for thinking, meditation, reflection or prayer
6. Using affirmations (positive self talk, positive thinking, CBT, encouraging the
inner child, inner committees, etc.)
7. Planning ahead, in writing, to either cope with or avoid stressful situations
8. Combining support group participation or 12 step work, with personal
therapy
9. Spending time on helping others with similar issues
10. Move a muscle change a thought

11. Starting Yoga
